Lead area: Injuries

The South West Public Health Observatory (SWPHO) has lead responsibility for injuries within the Association of Public Health Observatories.

We are working with partner organisations to develop the new Injury Observatory for Britain and Ireland (IOBI). The purpose of IOBI is to support injury prevention practitioners by making important and relevant information and tools available through one site, including: analyses of injury trends across countries and regions; links to injury policies and strategies; an injury prevention evidence base, access to practical prevention tools, latest injury news and information on conferences and events.

For national indicators providing regional and/or local level comparisons, see National Injury Indicators.
