Lead area: Injuries
The South West Public Health Observatory (SWPHO) has lead responsibility for injuries across Public Health Observatories in England.

We are a key partner in the development of the Injury Observatory for Britain and Ireland (IOBI). The aim is to support injury prevention practitioners by making important and relevant information and tools available through one site, including: analyses of injury trends across countries and regions; links to injury policies and strategies; an injury prevention evidence base, access to practical prevention tools, latest injury news and information on conferences and events.

See our new Injury Profiles tool providing a snapshot of injuries occurring in each local authority in England.

See our England Injury Information Resources Guide to more online statistics, databases, websites, strategies, polices and reviews that may be relevant to work supporting injury prevention in England.
