The Peninsula Teaching Public Health Network (PTPHN), Chartered Institute of Environmental Health (CIEH) and Health Protection Agency (HPA) are holding a joint event on 11 December 2009 entitled 'Sustainability, climate change and public health'.

The event aims to provide the latest information on the impact of climate change within the South West region and how it will impact on public health. It will explore the need for public/environmental health professionals to respond to both the potential and anticipated impacts of climate change and sustainability on public health.
